Reading too much??!

It can be really strange sometimes..
How you would seem to have only notice the slightest change now and not yet then..
How you only notice the surroundings n question it now but not then..
How is it that when you realize you have fallen for someone..
You just can't stop thinking of them??

That's what happening to me these days..

Sigh..Lost my concentration totally..
Ok, unless it's highly related to her..
So, i started memorising the questions in tut quiz..
Finishing up my homework to compare answers..
Look up more than enough resources for projects..
Sigh..Am i totally LOST??

Bewildered n confused..N tiredly sank to bed..

Volunteering..MeaningFuL??!

Hit the sack at around 5am this morning..
Just back from clubbing at about 3.30am..
Not tired till 5am..
and was awaken by my mum at 10am..
Gosh..
i can make do with a bit more sleeping hours mum..

Anyway, got a Volunteer-A-Day (VAD) programme
this n next sat starting at 1pm..
So gotta get ready for this..
I was posted to All Saints Home(Home for elderly)
at Tampines St 45..
My choice actually..
So my mum bring me to shop at Tampines Mall..
Okok, fine, i beg her to shop with me..
I saw a nice Short-sleeve shirt at G2000 earlier on..
But i not sure if it's nice on me..
So, i enlist her help..
Coz gals have alot of fashion sense than most males..
Well, she said..
It looks good on me..
but the price after discount is $30!
so she was like, u serious about this shirt??
And i was like ya..Can i have it..?
and she reply..i see how first..
Sigh..

So when the clock tick 1pm..
I head to The Home..
Was the second to reach the venue..
the orientation was like very funny..
haha..
anyway, i got hands-on on wheelchair handling..
It was a shocking experience..
Everyone on wheelchiar seems scare at first..
be it wheeling up, down slope..
up,down stairs..
we are all very scare..
so we actually can feel how it's like for the patient to be like that..
we understand now..
everytime up,down slope is so scary for them..

The briefing was fun..n so are the demonstrations..
however, there are a few gals who look more like they are here for fun..
Kept on talking n all..not following the demonstrations..
wad a distraction..
but the thing is..
They were quite good at communicating with the old folks..
hyper friendly..
haha..so that's a good thing..

We sang a couple of songs to the folks b4 dinner time..
And then we feed some of them dinner..
Well, i was assigned to an elderly folk who talk so softly none of us can hear..
so we can only try read the body language..
he was so bed-ridden that he can't sit in wheelchair..
anyway, i mus say..
i don't know how to feed the old folk..
he kept opening the mouth so small, n the spoon so big..
only a bit of the food went into the mouth..
was so embrassed that i can't feed the folk properly..
Feeding ppl has a technique n it also has to be patient too..
I dun have the technique..
well, not very patient sometimes..
so perhaps it's hard for me to feed ppl and old folks..

Got to get to know two more ppl in temasek poly..
both are at engine sch..
yr 1 n 2..
OM, make me look so old sia..T_T''
Haha, no matter wad, is great knowing ppl..
ok, gotta go rest liao..ByeZ..

Wow..so many ppl in the chinablack club man..
I can't believe it..
My news of going to clubbing on friday spread like wildfire ever since i ask if anyone wants to come on wednesday..
It was like the whole ppl in my PS course knows liao..
LOL...Isn't that information dispatch fast??
Anyway..I did go to chinablack today(friday)..

First impression..CooL design..
Then, when i walk a round..
Oh, so dangerous..steps almost everywhere..
Can't imagine if someone is drunk n miss the step..
The smoke is excessive..be it harmful smoke from puffers or the -disco smoke-.
Can't really see the ppl actually..
Place is a bit cramp..n drinks are fairly ok..
think they serve Carlsberg beer..was not as bitter as tiger..
Anyway, the rating i give is 4/5 stars..
Can go la..

Meet many of my course members there...wahaha..
Hope they enjoyZ the clubbing..

What Island?? There is NO island, dun u see??!

Well, tmnl i have a PMT test..
A 20marks quiz at 8am..
Topic 1-3..
Not fully prepared yet..
BUT..

I still go watch movie..
HaHaHa..
I watched The Island!!!
with priscilla n patrick..
The movie was very nice..
Very action pack..
Rating: 4/5 starZ..
It's a movie about clones..
How they live in the lab (controlled diet n all)
Then one clone call Tom Linclon finally found out the truth about the island..
And rescure his sweetheart when she was supposed to go Island!!
When clones escape..
You can be sure that a hunt for them ensues..
So what they are planning to do is to meet their -originals-..
and try to liase with them to get the other clones out..
the search for the two clones intensifies..
n when they finally found the original...
They were fooled into believing him..
What happened is that..
The real one is killed by a deceit from the clone..
So the clone replaces the real one..
and somehow, manage to get the rest of the clones out..

RE: 16/7/05 trip from sun tech to Somerset bus-stop..

I have always been looking at my friends..
and i noticed several obvious hints the other party was dropping..
That hinted he/she was interested in a ''more than friend'' relationship..
But perhaps, the other party wasn't noticing it..
or trying not to notice it..(HuH??)

Wadever it is..
I hope no one is dropping hints on me..
I may be good at picking up hints for my friends..
But i personally think i'm a poor receiver of my own hints..

YUP..
A very poor one..
Unless it is very obvious to everyone la..
Then the % of me realising the hint is greater..

Hmm..I had drop several hints to a gal this yr..
But i not sure if she realizes it...
My classmates do know that it is very obvious..only some know lah..
but i can't tell from her actions if she can tell anot..
Gonna keep trying harder i suppose..
Perhaps i need to know if she's interested in me anot first..
Heard lots of rumors that she is attached le..
wouldn't really want to interfere if she's in a relationship le..
Best not be third party..

Perhaps she has also been signaling to me??!
hmm..not very sure..
but i'm gonna make the best of it..
Asking her out for another movie..The Island..
If she's interested n willing to go watch with me..

Busy day..

Well, i have a busy shedule today(16/7)..
Need to get tix for Fantastic 4..
Then rush down to National; Council of Social Service--NCSS
for a Volunteer-A-Day (VAD) programme..
Then rush back for movie n dinner..

Somehow the plan shifted..
n twisted..
n ended up quite not like as sheduled..
but i end up doing alot more stuff..haha..

So, only 2 can make it for the Fantastic 4 movie..
plus my othe friend, Priscilla had watched it twice already..
So they choose another movie instead..
the island at 9pm at marina square GV...
Seems funny as it may be..
It turns out to be an error in the reading of the times..
The Island isn't on big screens until wed of the forth-coming week..
So we had to choose another movie..
And i decided on Red Candy..dun be fooled by the title..It's no simple funny story..
It'a actually a horror movie..a sequel to -One Missed Call-

So coming back to the actual sequence of the events..
I brought two tix for Fantastic 4..
Then i rush down to NCSS for the briefing..
Then i rush back to orchard to get present..
Then i went to have dinner with Patrick, Priscilla and Wei Shan..
Then we went to Arcade for some games..
Then shop around the closed mall..to the rooftop garden..
Then head to Carrefour to shop..
Then went to cinema (Eng Wah @ Suntech) to buy popcorns n nachos n drinks b4 going into the cinema for movie--Red Candy..

NCSS briefing:
It was a rather short but very informative one..
I learnt how to wheel someone up, down a slope..
and also up n down a single step..
how to keep n open the portable wheelchair..
but all these are only in theory..so hopefully..
I can still do it in reality..

To get presents:
Well, it's to get a present for one special gal in our care group..
So i know i dun really have a good taste..
But i still want to participate in present selection..Haha..
So together with Adeline Yap and Kah Chian and with two other guys, Mervin and Hui Jie..We went in search of present..LoL..
Maybe we not so familiar lah..so he seldom talk..
Finally brought a present for the gal lo..Can go eat dinner lo..haha..

At the dinner:
Patrick was sharing a bowl of noodles with Priscilla!!
Because Priscilla is quite full..hmmm..okay..
Ate like sweet and sour fish with rice..
Just can't avoid the temptation of a fried fish..
Then shortly after, Wei San, Priscilla friend, arrives..
She's a libra..and Patrick suggested that libra is attractive n interesting b4 she arrives..
Well, she may not be very pretty than Priscilla..But she's still ok..
She seems a bit quiet..but we all do when we are surrounded by unfamilar faces..
I can tell that she is capable of great stuff..Working as a customer service personel kind of job should be quite friendly..Interesting she really is..haha..she actually agree with my view..LoL..shan't tell wad my view is here..haha..

At the game arcade:
We must have spent like about $13 in total or slightly more..
Playing games that last about a few minutes each..
Well, we played the challenger, puzzle fighter, keyboard rock music, car racing, and drumming..
Was quite fun..

Shop around to rooftop garden:
We reached there at about 10pm..
Still wasn't closed..
Had a very interesting chat..
Really nice to chat there..
A nice place to -pa tou-..
know a bit about Priscilla past..
and answer her long want-to-know question..

Carrefour shopping:
actually, we shop here cos, it closes at around 11pm..and our tix time is about 11.15pm..
ya, so we got nothing to do then shop here one..haha..
Browse at music, DVDs and VCDs..
Saw the New harry potter book..The half-blood prince..
first chapter got the title, the new minister or something..
haha..lost my interest in reading harry potter books..
prefer the visual effects..VCD, DVD or movie better..
at about 11.10pm..we walk up to cinema..

Red Candy, the movie:
brought nachos n popcorn combos..
too huge to finish at the end of the movie..
Well, it was actually a sequel to -One Missed Call-
Priscilla say One Missed Call is better than this..
It is more horrifying..
Ok..then fortunately i watched this n not the one missed call..
Well, the story is about, yup, a missed call..
a strange sounding ringtone..can't quite remember the tone..
but it was unique..really unique..n hair-raising tone..
the caller is none other than the owner of the handphone..
whoever receives the call..will die as predicted..eg: 3days later at 12.15am..
so the story goes that a father picks up the call for her daughter..n heard her scream..
then shortly after, he died with disfigured face..
the victims all have coal mine dust in stomach instead of red candy in mouth in one missed call..so the coal mine is in taiwan, not japan..
the person who was predicted to die on the 3rd day of the call, accompanied by her boyfriend-narato, and a reporter arrives in taiwan..
They found the mine n set off to find entrance to get inside..
Well, all got in..at different times..
The person expected to die was trapped with her narato in a transmitter area..
narato tried hard to get his girlfriend out of the area..but failed..
his girlfriend remains in the compound while he was flunked out of the compound by the ghost..
then the phone rang its terrible tone..
she was destined to die in the transmitter compound..
but narato managed to get the handphone n picks it up..
the caller says..We will meet again..
And true enough, the gal was magically released and the guy was in the transmitter compound..together with the dreaded ghost..
The reporter realised she had died n killed her husband who also receives the dreaded missed call..
and she spits out the......
RED CANDY!
then the film ended..
Lasted about two hours..

Comments:
biazzare deaths, stupid scary sound effects..not very scary shadows..
scary ringtone..scary ghost..scary death pictures..

Rating: 3.5/5
It is indeed touching to know the ending is so twisted..with the guy dying in place of the gal..
However, the other cheap scares aren't really scary..At least i didn't..er..scream..??!
Watchable but better to invest in other up-coming movies like The island, Willy Wonka, Bug me not..etc...

A fuN filled DaY..

Well, today is my firend's b'day..
Edwin, Happy 19th B'day..CheerZ..
hope you like the card i sent ya..

Hmm, went for the sales and marketing talk today..
Wasn't compulsory but still go because it might be helpful for selling, persuasion..
The person is a Mr To..
He seems friendly..
and he has a lot of stories to tell..but not boring stories at all!!
In fact, it was very interesting..
All the stories are somehow related to what he is going to teach us..
So we are kinda learning through his experience..
the talk may have ended slightly earlier than expected..
but it wasn't a wasted time..
through this session, i learnt the power of silence..
the art and concept of selling..

Later, meeting with my project group for DDCT..
We were all so serious man...Haha..
But we did manage to settle some work before meeting ends..
Quite efficiency i would say..
but Shee Wee wasn't here today..
heard from janice she went to see doctor..
Speedy Recovery Shee Wee..=)

Before NAFA test..
I had another meeting, DPP..
Though only the three of us (all guys) are present..
we manage to complete action plan 2..
yee..so now we are almost completing the work..
Hope to get it done soon..
and work hard for DPP..

the dreaded nafa test is finally here..
queue for like 20mins and all to get to be in the 5th group..
Was better anyway..because, no need to climb up and down the stairs..
so, in a way..More fortunate than others...

Some ppl i know in my group like Jasmine, Timothy Chan, Angela, Samantha, Timothy Tan... and Ying You =)
wasn't a really funny group..but indeed very encouraging group..
Some of the guys cheer the team mates on when they go shuttle run and sit and reach, like: run faster, u can do it..just a bit more..one more try..
Some also gave advice..how to pass NAFA..
Indeed amazing..Thanks ppl for the encouragement..!
I'm sure it really helps alot..
My NAFA overall results: Failed
Shuttle Run: 11.7s
Sit-Ups: 40
Standing Broad Jump: 180cm
Sit and Reach: 40
Pull-Ups: 2
2.4Km Run: ??

Failed more than one component..LoL..
but never mind..
i'm still very happy i got two pull-ups instead of none..
i really thot i would have to submit a zero for pull-ups..
so in a way..Yea, even though i failed..i still happy i did my best =)

Had dinner with my CP n care group ppl..
Though the dinner was ex, like $20..
It was still enjoyable..
Because of the ppl involved..
The Chatting and all...
The Bonding..
The Food..
The Beverage..
The Service..
The Ice-cream..
The Atmosphere..
It is just a splendid meal..
Worth the value..
Haha..really enjoy the dinner..

Does my expression convey STRESS??!

Today, we had a CSAS 4 meeting with the lecturer..Ms Tam...

It was like any other meeting..
Clarify doubts..
Check progress of work..
Have additional info..
and stuff..

But i was surprised that she can tell just from the lok on people's face whether they are happy or not..
wow..that's er..
superb..
She obviously detected unhappiness from a few members of our CSAS 4 group..
So, she also didn't make it too friendly to them..
though she did answer the questions posted by them..
perhaps it was for the benefit of the whole group..

When the meeting ended, some of us stay back to ask questions...
then as i had a lot of questions..
i was the only one left in the room..
being alone with ms tam isn't funny anymore..
she dun joke too much anymore..
she tends to get a bit more serious..
she answers my questions..
but after the questions..
she asked me..
are u stressed out??
i was surprised that she asked that..
cos i doubt it was evident from my face that i'm stressed out..

ok..so since she guessed it..
i might as well confessed..
and she start to tell me why she think i stressed out..
she says..
you are spending too much of your energy on each part of the resume..
you dun need to to that..
the impt part of a resume is just the work experience, education, achievements and skills..
so just concentrate on that...no need to concentrate on the personal details etc..
and she said i lack confidence..

WOW..She hit the nail on the spot..!
I SERIOUSLY lack confidence..
I know my this trait is contradicted in my horoscope personality..
Perhaps that's why horoscope isn't 100% correct then..
Coming to think of it, i lack confidence cos..
Some of the things in life, u can achieve it if you have confidence..
how to be confident??
i really dunno..
But i wish i can be more confident..
my speechlessness is a result of not confident..
I sometimes dunno how ppl will react when i suggest something..
cos most of the time my suggestion are far from ppl's main viewpoint..
kind of abstract..or is only an idea..
so it's kind of hard for ppl to believe in a idea..
and some ppl think i'm joking..
Sigh..
Seriously need to change my viewpoint to the masses..
perhaps then, i can open up n be more confident..

Regrets or No??

-Every decision you make has an impact on the path you are gonna follow in the near future-

Well, since young, i've been having regrets already..
I regreted not been open to friends when i was in primary school..
not daring to confess to my first crush in primary 6..
being made a fool of in primary sch days..
being so easily falling in crushes n looking lovelorn in secondary 1 & 2..
being so easily mistakening friendship for BGR..
never had one true relationship with a gal i had a crush on..
so many ppl know who i had crushes on in my sec yrs..and even in poly yrs..
still no BGR now in poly years..
hadn't got very fantastic results to boast about thru'out the yrs..
not being brave enough to break the LAWS..
being tongue-tied during most project discussions..
and my greatest regret???!
Not being able to fulfill my childhood dream of being a doctor..

Awww..each time i saw a doctor in hospital..
I felt this utter regret for not choosing JC course..
Cos, someone told me that only thru JC can u study doctor course..
but i doubt i will do well in my JC years too..
well, but i must learnt to put this regret away..
only then can i learnt to live happily, right??!

Well, i jus wan to let everyone know that behind everyone's face..
lies some troubled thoughts..
If u can freed away from these thots..
then u will be able to smile more freely n unrestrained..
giving the best mega-watt smile ever..
jus like i can't take pics in hospitals..
cos i will always be reminded of the dream i can't acomplished..!

Test Day 5..FINALLY..!

Yeah..Today is the last test..
Well I sure bring a lot of references to the PA 2 test..
Haha..Also photocopy kelvin's one from gladys to supplement my barrage of notes..
LOL...talk about kiasu-ism..

Well, the test atarts at about 3.35pm..and slated to end at 5.05pm..
But in the end, the test ends at about 5.30pm..or 5.35pm..Making a one and half-hour test to about two hours..and yet, we complained..NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DO EVERYTHING!!!!

It surely unenough time to do all..
Cos we need to read our notes and read the question and read notes again to find the answers..
Sometimes, the answer has to be sieve out from the lines of text in our notes..no prior highlighting..! So we end up spending more time than required on the question.

talk about time management..We have..but we manage it rather unsuccessfully..
talk about enlightenment..we are enlightened..but at the end of the test..
talk about happiness..we aren't really, until we realised, we can go home n rest our tired brains..
talk about sleep..We really need it..we really love our beds now..zzzzZZ..

Test Day 4

Today, there's no test.
But i have a last test on friday at 3.30pm..
The subject is Pharmaceutical Analysis 2(PA2)..
It's open-bk test..
meaning alot of application is required.
And also meaning, we need to bring alot of materials there..
and also meaning we need brains..to think thru the questions..
which also means not enuff time to complete the tests..

Well, i seriously dunno how to study for it..
So spent my whole morning and early afternoon playing online games..
Till late afternoon did i finally decided to, sit down and rethink what i really need to pack into my bag for the test tml.
And reading thru some stuff that i deem important for the test..
before long, i was chatting with my friend on msn liao..haha..
was actually going to discuss som questions that is related to the subject..
but we somehow sure know how to side-track..
taliing about other stuff..haha..LoL..
Didn't catch LOST on ch 5 in whole..
Just tiny weeny bits of it..
But seems like next week is exciting..
n i learn something from the episode..
The plane is heading to singapore..!
Why is it that every diaster area or situation has to mention Singapore??

Test Day 3

Today, Communication Skills for Applied Science 4 (CSAS 4) is being tested..
Thru'out the whole test..
I couldn't contain my laughter..
It doesn't seem like a test venue at all cos..
We come into the exam room in a mess..
Then some of us took our bags to our seats..(not allowed)
Then we suddenly realised we aren't allowed to do that..
And in a haste, took out what we needed n put our bags away..

So when the test starts, we are ready!
However, the examiner, Miss Tam, specify one condition.
''You can only leave this room after 45 mins of the commencement of the test.''
You must have been surprised at this comment cos why limit it like that?
Well, the reason is that this is a very easy test and can take about 30mins or less to finish it.
But some people like to slowly inspect all details before carefully, neatly submit thier answer script.
Thus, in order not to disturb these people, the examiner limit it to 45mins after commencement of the test before people can leave the room.

When i flip open the test script, I knew i couldn't contain my laughter..
There's always these funny sentences that we are being tested on..We need to put them in a friendlier language. So i couldn't help it but laugh..HAHAHA..
fortunatelt, it was a rather inaudible laughter..
So miss tam didn't really realised it..
But i was really laughing thru'out the paper..LOL..

Test Day 2

Well..The most difficult paper is here..!
It actually GMP term test lah..haha..
But it is really difficult becos it's a dry subject
and you all know how hard it is to memorise a dry subject..
So factual it is
that it sometimes makes you frustrated why you need to learnt it..
And to do well in it is not impossible..
It take true determination n alot of memory to make the grade..
And not counting the numberous brain cells that died from memorising all that infos.

Well, i don't expect to do well for this test..
Not becos i aren't prepared!
Cos the questions are getting harder..
And the topics are widening..
Fortunately left with one last topic to wrap up the whole GMP subject.
So, when the topic is taught..
GMP revision better start now!
or else you may never get to remember anything..!
HAHAHA..

Finishing this paper feels like the term break is tml..
Unfortunately, it isn't till 2 more papers..
Sigh..But have a little break first..haha..

Test day 1

Day 1 of term test..

DDCT: Drug Development and Clinical Trials

Wow..the questions are almost all from the past year term test paper..
Isn't it amazing? I did have the paper..And did do some part of revision..
But was really amazed at the way the questions were recycled..

Anyway, a short note is that, the test is manageable..! thanks to reference from previous year papers..thanks man..
