Meet The Robinsons Movie

Meet the Robinsons

This is truly a nice movie!!
The storyline is simple,
-Boy is looking for a family he can call his own.
-A great inventor.
-Dejected to be rejected by adportion parents interview many times now.
-Invents a memory scanner in the hope of searching for his mother.
-Stolen away by a villian from the future, which threatens to alter the future.
-A boy from the future came to help prevent it from happening.
-Etc.
-Ending: All ends well..

Why I recommend:
Because it lets you feel the feelings of the kids at orphange..
It shows the inventive spirit and a powerful force of motivation..
It teaches one to be happy & content with what we have now and not ask for more..
It is a very touching story about inner hearts of the orphans..

YiAn PiN's Birthday CelebraTioN..!

Today is my god-sister's birthday celebration..
Her actual birthday Date is tml..lol..
Kind of exciting to celebrate with her & other friends too..

Went with mark and my new-found friend: Jie Shang to Angela's Showcase..
We brought the album at the DragonFly door to obtain passes for the showcase.
Afterwhich, we queue for about an hour b4 the queue starts to move inside the door to the clubhouse..mAny young gals were there..They seemed very high when Angela came out..To sum it up, the showcase was okay lah..Took some pics though..heehee..

After the showcase, me, jie shang and mark meet up with my sister's gang (shi han, bee chin, christina, yian pin) as well as my current bunk mate, wen jie to dine and any other after-dinner activities..shopping n photo-taking n arcade..

It was suppossed to be a happy one..
but it turned out otherwise for me..
Nowadays, they seemed to linked me with Bao Qi..
Despite being mere 2wks after being rejected by her..
and they all know it!!..
It still kinda hurts when someone reminds me of her..
Asking me whether I still keep in touch with her..
Whether we can be together in future..
This & thaT & everyThing else about her..
*-Can you please leave me alone??!-*
I dun really wan to thinK about these right nOw..
It's suppossed to be a happy celebration for my sis but ends up
-getting grilled on the hot plate by frustrating questions- abouT her & me..
Although I managed to change topic as and when..
divert attention here and there..
act blur..pretend never hear anything..
Force a smile here & there for shots..
But deep down inside of me..
I know I am -empty-,-incomplete-,-lonely-!
I don't feel the NeeD to be reminded of these feelings..

After the celebration, each of us went home happily..
Me very happy that finally..at last..
-NO MORE- Bao Qi releated questions coming my way...

Ending the night with some -SaD- songs to lure me to dreamland..
May I get over iT real sooN..

Deathnote

Yesterday, my section mates & some platoon mates come down to orchard area to celebrate for our Sgt Seow KT for his transfer to 'O' Coy.

We eat at Vil'lage, and went to play pool @ Cathay Cineleisure lvl 8's K Pool..
Had a fun-filled time..Yeah..

Watched Deathnote yesterday with Bao Qi & my brother @ Cathay Cineleisure..
The movie version & the manga verison is so different..why??
The movie version contains only Deathnote 1-3.

In the manga version:
-Light did not kill his girlfriend.
-Light kills the FBI's girlfriend after a second try b4 she made her case to L/police.
and whole lot of other differences..

Movie is nice..4/5 stars
However, it doesn't follow the manga strictly after book 1..
So I'm also not sure if it is suspossed to be like that..
Anyway, enjoy the movie & company =)

Went HongKong Cafe to eat dinner after the movie..
Had ying yong Iced, ha gao, siew mai, guo tie..
Tasted Bao Qi's soy milk and chee cheong fun..
The chee cheong fun doesn't really taste nice..
But the rest of the tim sum is tasty..yummy..

1st Bookout Day

Yea..After exactly 2 wks in tekong..
I'm finally back in S'pore..!

Great..The air here is so much fresher..!
The ppl here are so much more friendly..(Cos we pay for service, remember??)
The greenery here..better than tekong of cos..
Shopping heaven n lavish cinemas...Tekong dun have..

Anyway..
I got posted to BMTC 2 @ tekong, Leopard 3 Section 4 Bed 11..

My 2 weeks @ tekong is one of much unexpected..
No punishment (not yet), no gansters in my section..
Bunk mates are friendly n very open to all talks..(dirty or not)..
I'm even in same section wif my sec sch friend, Yew Peng =)
Though we din talk much in sch..Now can talk more le..haha..
We also quite united lah...Always helping each other..looking out for each other..
Cool..That's the way man..Great..

The training is tough though..
Esp the route march..
Mentally n Physically exhaustive..!
Although jus 3km in full battle order..
It weighs a ton to move 1km..
Much less 3km..
& dun wanna think abt the 24km eventually..
But nevertheless..I'll persevere no matter wad..
Team works together n encourage one another..
So we will move on as a team leaving no man behind..!

-Family : Cos I live wif them everyday for 20yrs n more!!
-Ex-Colleagues of Comtec : It's been great knowing they care & truly treat me as one of them..
-Sec 4 Friends/Classmates : Although we meeting less n less each yr..we never really forget each other..
-Best friendz : Although we seldom meet..We still think of each other n sincerely hope they are doing well..
-Group of hangouts : Lesser hangout now..But we still remember our fun-filled days..Great memories..
-Poly Friends : We dun even have time to msn each other now?? What happened..Still thinking of our poly days..mugging, lunching every day wif u all..
-Poly Calssmates : Great hangout last sat..long for more..& thanks for the great times together..
-Wyeth Friends : Aw, miss my 1st attachment company ppl..they treat me so gd..hope they all doing well too..

SuPeRbAnD FiNaLs..WhO u SuPpOrTiNg???

Yea..Tonight is the finals..
but i doubt i will get to watch it..
maybe a replay one lor..
haha..

But I rooting for MLB...!
They are so multi-talented..
Can sing..
Can play many musical instruments..
So definitely it's them that can be the SUPERBAND!!!

However the contenders are strong too..
So not too sure how tonight's outcome will be..
Especially since it is 100% selected by votes..
IT's too difficult to tell...
But I surely hope MLB will win..GoGoGo..Do Ya Best!!

What a Friday..

OMG..had a slight headache this morning when I go for work..
Sigh..Still had to go..no choice..
Can't believe I left my mind at home today..

Forgot to tap card when I come to office..
And also nearly forgot to tap card when I go home..
Blur sotong of the day..wahaha..

Went to buy a watch..
Cost $15..
The seller say can let me know international time..
but then..
The seller dunno how to look at it..
I'm like..huh??
How can a seller sell things he dunno how to use??
Nevertheless..I brought the watch..
I'm determined to find out how to use the watch..
Yes..

But..

The watch is broken a couple of hrs after it was brought..
but the person who broke it offers to repair it..
So it's ok..
Small matter..
Anyway..It's only $15..Not $1500
haha..
Ppl muz learn to take things in their stride..
& only then can they be truly smiling even in adversity..
I wish i could be like that..
but i know i am a long way further than it..

Gathering!!

Woke up early in the morning, abt 6.30am,
to realize my msg inbox full yet again..
been trying to clear my inbox to no avail..
It was ZH asking me if I wan to join them dinner at marina bay tonight..
He msged me at ard 5am..LoL..

So I msged back that I will be there..
and went for my first ever morning jog (train for ns lah)..
But the weather isn't looking good..
Threatening to rain anytime in late afternoon..
Still..My colleagues(yong siong, zhi hao, benjamin, yee ting & fei long) wan to go escape theme park to play..
So, no choice..Jus went there lor..

Reach Escape at about 4pm like that..
Played viking, wet & wild and wall's revolution..
Many ppl queuing for the rides..
Wait for very long b4 our turn..
Revolution is the only ride I heaven played b4..
But it is so exciting..
Wahaha..I din scream at all!!!
Not that I wasn't frightened..
But becos, it was thrilling not SCARY..
get to see the machinery upholding us..
Wow..cool..practically see sky in spining motions..
din get dizzy..
but legs sure go abit numb..
wahaha..
The other rides are not thrilling at all..cos I already played till I get sick of them..
Leave my colleagues at abt 6pm so as to reach marina bay at 7pm..

Meet Zhi Huai, Teck Chin, Michelle, Yong Chia at marina bay mrt control station..
Everyone dressed nice nice..
Had steamboat at dragon boat instead of zeng fa..cos zeng fa is full house le..
The food there is not nice..one word to describe..Gross..
Drinks also quite ex..$1.50 per can..
But nevertheless..We managed to finish the balls we put inside the steamboat..
using zhong ji mi ma..(guess the number)..

After that, we went marina sq's hong kong cafe to drink n chat..
We only jus ordered our drinks n we got a bill with change..
It was an honest mistake..made by the waitress..
Then shortly after, we received the bill..
with a credit card..?!!
Yup, another mistake by the waitress..
It's either the waitress can't wait to drive us out OR she really blur like sotong..
Either way..There isn't a third wrong bill liao..sianZ..haha..(was expecting it)
We had some very interesting talk there abt funny blogs, creepy & interesting NS stories..Some other funny stories abt ppl in newspaper..etc..really enjoyed laughing lots..n lots..

Time strikes 1.30am n Teck Chin gotta go cos his father fetching him home..
so we also bid farewell..until next time we meet again..
Yong Chia, Michelle, Zhi Huai n me share a cab home since we live so near each other..in the vincity..Really enjoy lots although it is late..Hope to meet up more often like that..haha..
